I’m not closed off from the prospect of Female Bishops. Let me clear that up immediately. The one thing that SHOULD be put into place before anything is voted on regarding the possibility of a female bishop, is the proper provision for those who cannot accept the leadership of a female Bishop. The provision that was given before this Synod meeting was disre
garded, not by the traditionalists, but by the pro-female Bishops groups. I was happy enough with that provision. Now that the vote has been cast, there is now enough time to think, talk about and agree on a proper provision that will bring the Church of England together. Yes, I feel sorry for those who were all for this, but lets all work together, to get proper provision in place for those who are opposed, and then we can continue our journey on earth, with Christ at the centre of it all.
